Devil Bug Update Center report for Sept 3, 2009

Monette is doing better today, feeling more comfortable at home and getting in and out of the rig just got a LOT easier thanks to Chris and Hassan, a couple of carpenters that work here in the park. Check out the fine steps they built for her below. Everyone here has been very kind and considerate of our situation and we are forever grateful. We plan to move to a larger site after the Labor Day Weekend and the steps will follow us for sure.

She will remain on the antibiotics for at least two more weeks, visiting the hospital every day for the injections. After that, if all is going well she can stop the injections and go to oral antibiotics. The wound vac needs to be cleaned and packing replaced every three days and that is done at the hospital also. That process will go on for months as the wound heals. Stay tuned as the Devil Bug Saga continues. Thanks to all for your concerns and kind words of support. We truly appreciate it.
Several folks have asked what has happened to our new pooch Cody. Well, he is in good hands, staying at the "RanJud Puppy Spa" in Scottsdale, AZ. He has a huge dog run, his own swimming pool, a playmate that is not interested in his antics and the loving care of our family members Randy and Judy. Thanks a million to them for watching our guy while we work through this little episode in our lives.
