Well, we did not get anywhere near Yellowstone as planned. Sadly we had the misfortune of experiencing a wheel bearing failure on the way and are now back in Kalispell, MT at a motel as we wait for the fix to occur. The wheel bearing broke in the middle of the Montana countryside and the rig is too big to be hauled by anyone so it sat there for three days all alone while we waited for Labor Day Weekend to expire and business to resume. Luckily the folks in Montana are quite honest and all our stuff was still there. We finally found a mobile mechanic and got it to town on Tuesday. The fix requires a whole new Axel assembly from Dexter and that will take at least a week from now to have built and delivered. So we are very disappointed in missing our time in Yellowstone with friends Mike and Judy, Brad and April but they are having a good time in our absence. Life on the road is not always splendid it seems!!!!!!!!!!!
