My Dad

On Sunday, Oct. 9th, 2011 my Dad, Gershom (Gerry) Makepeace, passed away peacefully in St. Louis MO. He was born on Oct. 8th. 1919 and died one day after his 92nd. birthday. He was a wonderful example for my sister Val and me and we shall miss him very much. Our family had the pleasure of knowing we had a true "Rocket Scientist" amongst us and he contributed greatly to that industry during his lifetime. He loved all his family dearly and we loved him with all our heart. Thanks for all you have done for us over the years and the wonderful times spent in conversation on every topic imaginable. Your vast knowledge and insight to the ways of the world never ceased to amaze me. They say we are products of our environment and I honestly believe I am who I am because of the environment you provided.
Thanks Dad. You leave this life knowing you did well by all who knew you.
